Anderson Burton Awarded Power Maintenance Services Contract for Luminant's Comanche Peak Nuclear Plant

Anderson Burton was awarded a 5-year contract by Luminant to provide engineering, maintenance and modifications, and facility services for its Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant.

Comanche Peak is Luminant’s sole nuclear generation asset. The plant operates two units which, combined, produce 2,300-megawatts of power – enough energy to power about 1.15 million homes during normal operations and 460,000 homes during periods of peak demand.

Description: Five year contract is for the management of site facilities, construction maintenance, pest control, waste management and water treatment control including all associated facilities and maintenance, and cafeteria food services for 1,400 people, elevator services, and facilities supplies. Grounds maintenance for a 10,000 acre site that includes the 3,275‐acre Squaw Creek Reservoir.
